Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

i got my first signing ever coming up! if you're attending comic-con, head on over to Arcana Comic's booth (#2415) on SUNDAY, 12 noon to 2pm. my buddy Justin Aclin (toyfare editor and twisted toyfare theatre writer) and i will there with advance copies of HERO HOUSE, our 100 page graphic novel, comic book thing. i'll be doing quick sketches for free! so come on over and say hello.

otherwise i will be on the con floor enjoying the show. i plan on hitting the tables and the panels. i GOTTA get into jim cameron's AVATAR, and of course the IRON MAN 2. there's so much going down its almost certain i'll miss out on a LOT of cool stuff.

also coming up, justin and i will be the guests over at the fanboy radio podcast this sunday. we'll talk about Hero House, comics and pop culture. personally i'm excited to do "sub or flub".
