project rooftop: wolverine

entry for project rooftop.
its hard to think up of new wolverine costumes. there have been dozens of designs for the comics, it seemed everything has been done. so the best way i could devise of coming up with a costume is first deciding on a template: namely the "patch" era wolverine.

next i thought up of a theme; i like it when wolvy fights outdoors, plus "patch" operated in south east asia, ergo, jungles. so my theme would be wolvy as a jungle fighter.

next would be details. well, i want a militaristic feel to the costume, so o made it look sturdy and flexible leather type material instead of the standard spandex. also, wolvy had srtipes on some of his costumes. i didn't want to ruin the military feel, so instead of stripes i put straps. lastly i added a wrestler's belt to round out the design.

lastly added body paint because its cool and reminds me of dutch from the first predator movie. plus it complements the overall theme.
