in any case, i totally believe his claims that he's been working on this a long time. there was a blog that posted a scan of a magazine article from the late 90's about "in development" films and it mentions avatar (or at least what would become avatar).
while my idea is not as old (about 5-6 years), i've decided it needs an overhaul so the similarities aren't as obvious. hahaha!
