in honor of the game coming out today, and submitted just in the nick of time! whew! (it helps i'm currently sick as a dog, so i got time on my hands.)
i wasn't really interested in the game, (though i'm familiar with double fine studio's pedigree). but i played the demo and was blown away. i am extremely impressed how good the game is (well, the demo, at least).
i was inspired by all the music and and the art to come up with this pic. i wanted a stronger frazetta or valliejo flavor, but sometimes you have to settle for "good enough" if you want to get work done. anyhoo, i had fun.
i colored the pencils to practice my photoshop skills but once i finished the flats i frank;y don't have the skill to go too much further. personally, i liked the "brutal legend- print" better, but since i worked so hard (for me) on these details, it'd be a shame not to show them off,
